I have wanted to start a blog like this for a while now - and to be truthful, I've started a few, but I always forgot the passwords and log in info..... SO, we're trying this again :)
A little about me:
I am a wife, mother of 3 incredible little's, serious soccer mom and boys U9 coach, prolific sock knitter, knitting instructor, knitwear designer, blogger, lover of coffee, tea and sweets, business owner and Yarnista by day and moonlight as a rather nerdy girl with uncontrollable daydreaming tendencies.
Owner and curator of Gracelynn Wool. Come visit me at gracelynnwool.com
Producer/host of the Hello Grace! podcast on YouTube. Come visit me!
I started knitting back in 2002 when I was pregnant with my oldest daughter and to this day you will always find me with a pair of knitting needles stashed in my purse with the next pair of socks in progress. I enjoy knitting socks more than any other thing, and I’ve just come to accept that I will probably always knit more socks than sweaters, and that’s ok.
I continue to enjoy teaching new fiber friends to knit and have had the amazing opportunity to teach classes as brick and mortar LYS as well as private classes. I am also excited to get the opportunity to lecture on occasion ( mostly about socks, are you surprised?).
I began designing a few years ago, mostly for myself as I was always changing patterns to fit my style anyway. Now with over 50 patterns under my belt, I feel like it’s safe to add Knitwear Designer to my resume. It’s so enjoyable to create something that all of you may enjoy!
I just this month after dying my myself for the last 1.5 years, have landed a wholesale account at a new up and coming LYS - What?!? I am beyond excited. So, until next time, wish me luck!
